Shrinko ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
Shrinko requests access to your device's photo library solely to provide its core functionality: reviewing, organizing, compressing, and deleting photos and videos. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. Shrinko does not upload your photos or videos to a developer server. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple may download originals to your device and sync new copies or deletions across your devices according to your Photos settings.
Your photo and video files and saved review selections are not provided to the advertising SDK as advertising content. You can change photo access in iOS Settings.
The free experience uses Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. It may show banner ads and offer a rewarded full-screen ad before a compression action. Shrinko configures ad requests as non-personalized. This does not mean that no information is processed.
Google's SDK may process an IP address and approximate location inferred from it, app- or device-related identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. These may support advertising delivery, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. See Google's iOS SDK data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy for the provider's practices.
Before starting advertising services for free users, Shrinko requests Apple App Tracking Transparency permission after the photo-access flow. If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising measurement and frequency limits, subject to your other consent choices. If you decline or tracking is restricted, ads may still be requested without IDFA when your privacy choices permit them. Ad personalization remains disabled. Your photos and videos are never shared with advertisers. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Shrinko uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request current consent information and present privacy messages when required. Advertising requests are made only when the consent service permits them. Where UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, Settings → Advertising privacy in the App lets you review your choices. Consent information may be stored on your device and processed by Google to apply those choices.
Non-personalized advertising can still use identifiers for purposes such as frequency limits and reporting. Consent requirements and available controls depend on your region and the provider's configuration. More information is available in Google's explanation of non-personalized ads.
When an active Premium subscription is confirmed, Shrinko does not load or show ads and does not require rewarded ads before compression. Purchasing Premium does not remove data that an advertising provider previously processed; that data remains subject to the provider's policy and your privacy choices.
Shrinko offers optional in-app subscriptions managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple Account. All billing and subscription management is handled by Apple in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
App preferences, review progress and saved asset identifiers are stored using iOS storage. Forgetting a saved selection clears that session, without deleting media. Removing the App clears its local app storage; photos and compressed copies saved to Photos remain in your library. iOS backup and restore may retain or restore app data according to your device settings.
No Shrinko account is required. If you email support, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive photo-library content unless it is necessary for your support request.
Apple Photos and StoreKit provide photo access, iCloud transfers and subscriptions. Google AdMob and UMP provide advertising and consent services for the free experience. Opening support, advertising or legal links loads the relevant third-party website, which may process connection information under its own policy.
Shrinko is a general-audience utility and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
