Quran Offline — Privacy Policy

· 1.1

Everything happens on your device

The complete Quran text — all 114 surahs and 6,236 verses with their translations — is bundled inside the app. Reading and searching run entirely on your device. Your search words are never sent anywhere; there is no server behind this app and the developer receives no record of what you read or search for.

What is stored on your device

The app stores, on your device only: your favourite verses, your last reading position, your recent searches, your chosen text size, your chosen language, and whether you have seen the first-launch notice about translations. You can clear recent searches and remove favourites inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes this data, although an iOS backup may retain or restore a copy.

No account and no permissions

No account, name, email address or phone number is required. The app does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or notifications.

Advertising

The app shows banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver, measure and protect those ads, Google's SDK may process device identifiers, your IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), ad views and interactions, and crash, performance and other diagnostic information. Google processes this data as described in its own policies; the developer does not receive it and cannot connect it to what you read or search for.

Your advertising choices

Where consent is required — including the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your advertising consent before any ad is requested, and the advertising SDK does not start until that is resolved. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from Settings → Ad privacy inside the app. The app does not ask for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission, so your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not made available to the advertising provider; you can still review your device-level settings in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and your Google ad settings through the links below. Ads may be unavailable depending on your choices, region, connectivity or ad supply; the app remains fully usable.

Sharing, ratings and links

When you share a verse, iOS's own share sheet sends only that verse to the app or person you choose. Rating requests use Apple's standard in-app review prompt, which the developer cannot see or track. Links to the data source and its licence open in your browser.

Children, retention and changes

The app is not directed specifically at children and the developer does not knowingly request personal information from children. Data processed by Google is retained and deleted under Google's policies and applicable law. This page will be updated with a new date if the app's data handling or advertising flow changes.
